4. De esta tercera acepción me encuentro con El Folies Bergère, el cabaré de París, donde estuvo mucho tiempo de primera vedette Norma Duval.
5. De ahí al cuadro: El bar del Folies Bergère, pintura de Édouard Manet (1881-1882). It is a modern version of Velazquez's Las Meninas (1656-7)
6. La obra principal del museo The Courtauld Gallery, display in the LVMH Great Room.

*por cierto que la frase de Robinson (“Now I saw, though too late, the folly of beginning a work before we count the cost”) también la siento muy aplicable a mi forma de conducirme por los mares.
